Short Term Foster Parents Needed - Spread the News!

Have you ever considered short term fostering a child or know someone who has? Spread the news, Bethany Christian Services is seeking candidates for short term foster parenting!

Since 2019, Bethany Christian Services of Indiana has been serving unaccompanied children. Unaccompanied children are children who cross the US/Mexico border without a parent or legal guardian.

These children are primarily from Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador. Many of these children are fleeing community violence and unsafe conditions in their home country and are seeking asylum and reunification with family members already in the US.

As a transitional foster parent, you'd provide a safe, temporary home for a child until they can be reunited with family. While in our program children receive counseling, medical care, education, and legal support. Children range in age from infants to 17 years old. If your family is flexible, patient, and able to provide a safe and loving home, you would make a wonderful transitional foster parent. Most of the children are united with a family member or guardian after 1-2 months.
